getprotobyname — Get protocol number associated with protocol name

getprotobyname ( string $name ) : int

getprotobyname() returns the protocol number associated with the protocol name as per /etc/protocols.

Parametri

name

The protocol name.

Valorile întoarse

Returns the protocol number, sau FALSE în cazul eșecului.
