mysql_error — Returns the text of the error message from previous MySQL operation
Această extensie a devenit învechită în PHP 5.5.0 și a fost eliminată în PHP 7.0.0. În locul ei trebuie utilizată extensia MySQLi sau PDO_MySQL. Accesați de asemenea ghidul MySQL: selectarea unei API și FAQ asociat pentru informații suplimentare. Variante alternative pentru această funcție includ:

] ) : stringReturns the error text from the last MySQL function. Errors coming back from the MySQL database backend no longer issue warnings. Instead, use mysql_error() to retrieve the error text. Note that this function only returns the error text from the most recently executed MySQL function (not including mysql_error() and mysql_errno()), so if you want to use it, make sure you check the value before calling another MySQL function.

Conexiunea MySQL. Dacă identificatorul
legăturii nu este specificat, se presupune că este ultima legătură deschisă cu
ajutorul mysql_connect(). Dacă nu este găsită nici o astfel
de legătură, se va încerca crearea uneia prin apelul mysql_connect
() fără argumente. În caz că nici o conexiune nu este găsită sau
stabilită, se va genera o eroare de nivelul E_WARNING.
